Nowadays students in India are finding it difficult whether to pursue their studies in a foreign country during this pandemic. Is it a good time to start our studies? If you have this question in your mind then its definitely a big YES. There are many students for whom their parents are not allowing them to study abroad even if the students are willing to study. This is to open the parents eye too to make them feel comfortable. Lets see what are the benefits to study abroad.

Is it dangerous to travel at this time?
Why do you think it's dangerous to study abroad at this time when you are sitting in a country which is listed third in the covid hit cases. The first three country which has maximum cases is US, Brazil and India. If you can survive in India during this pandemic then definitely you can survive in other foreign countries which follows strict protocols. All the foreign countries stick to strict protocols so that if any one is found breaching the protocol he will be fined and arrested.

What is the benefit of studying Abroad than in India?
Yes of course when our Economy is hit badly at this time then there is no probability that all the students who graduate will get jobs. So some students who want to achieve their ambition have started their enrollment with international Universities.

How are the classes being conducted?
Most of the Universities are delivering the program in blended mode. Some countries on-Campus classes are starting during September. And in some countries the universities are delaying the program start date to November. So that students can attend orientation classes until December 15, after that christmas holidays will begin. And direct classes will be started from January 2021. This is the model Universities have come up with so that the students will feel comfortable with the blended mode.

Are people really travelling abroad at this time?
Yes the visa offices are open and students can apply for visa. The visa processing time may take longer during this time. Also International flights are open in all countries. The frequency of flights is only reduced. But the flights are open for people to travel abroad. So students cannot worry about the travel during the pandemic.


What are the requirements to apply for international Universities?
For students applying to UG they need to submit their 10th, 12th, IELTS, Passport, Birth certificate. For students applying for PG they need to submit their 10th, 12th, Bachelors,Experience certificate(if any), Passport, IELTS.

Novel Coronavirus – Situation Update - Asia Pacific University:

The unfortunate novel coronavirus situation has sparked negative response in many parts of the world and I believe it is the responsibility of all of us working in international education to lead the way in changing that perception and ensuring our communities have the global and cultural literacy to respond in a more responsible, positive and supportive way. I am inspired by this thought, and prayers that overall situation improves soon worldwide.

We at APU are doing everything possible to ensure our community is protected and so far everything is fine. Situation is relation to Novel Coronavirus in Kuala Lumpur is fine. We are carefully monitoring the situation as well as several Health Advisories are issued the past few weeks. All the precautionary measures have been taken in relation to persons travelling from China, and are consistent with advisories issued by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Health (MOH), as well as advisories issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO).  All our intakes that will commence on 25th Feb 2020 are scheduled as normal. All classes, exams and activities are going on as normal.
